ARCHITECT/DESIGNER: YANG CHO-CHENG (1980)
The design of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall seems to have captured both historical and modern references in an intentionally imposing structure.
The light stone massive forms balance nicely with the the huge adaptation of a pagoda roof.
It seems to have accomplished its goal.
